The Everton Board Thread

DBB, Graeme Sharp, Prentice - whose appointing these to the board - one man. Trying to make sure he keeps himself in a job. Wanted Roberto Martinez last year on a part time basis. There's meddling going on with transfers etc in the past few years, brands basically said it. Leave it to the professionals and get them out.

The likes of Stubbs now coming out and saying cant say a bad word about him, all to keep himself in charge.

You' have actual evidence if that tired old never ever been proven statement about Bill that u use in the first line

A competent owner doesn't blindly let an idiot run his business into the ground. That's moshiri's first fault. A competent owner doesn't meddle in day to day running of the business. That is moshiri's second fault. A competent owner doesn't go rogue with Comms and phone his mate up live on air to have a chat about the running of his business and makes veiled racist comments about a current player's family. That is moshiri's third fault.

The board don't need anything more saying about them than "get rid".

Rogue with comms ? Lol he can chat to whoever he likes. No business of yours

While there's nothing stopping him, most owners don't just have random unplanned chats with journos. Corporate Comms are usually carefully curated and moderated. As you have seen from Elon musk's antics on twitter, unchecked comments can wipe millions of the value of a company in an instant.

So you think Farhad Moshiri has interest in having David Prentice from the echo as the comms officer, a former player from the 80s as a director and DBB? Haha. Wake up mate.

Notice you've ignored the Stubbs point.

Heres another - Rooney on toffeetv & bellews podcast recently saying he was forced out of Everton in 2004 and wasnt allowed to train, to ensure he didnt pick up an injury and we couldnt sell.

Based on the following three points, together-

1. Not sacking the manager, despite terrible results
2. Not spending any money yet despite the position we are in, and seemingly only looking for loans without obligations
3. Delays in signing seemingly agreed contracts with pickford , gordon and Iwobi

... I conclude that the most likely current scenario is that a takeover is imminent and there is a contractual agreement or something in the head of terms preventing the club from appointing a new manager, signing any contracts or deals over a certain value.

Each of the above points are explainable on their own, but all together I think the most likely scenario is as above.

I just think its all about being concerned about relegation and being able to afford new contracts etc

cant sack the manager atm because he's more popular than the board, so it just ramps up the pressure on themselves for another failed manager, if we lose or draw saturday thatll change though

Obviously Billy boys work and he knows it, bring a blue home, Prentice has done him loads of favours over the years paid back by Bill at Evertons expense of course. Graeme Sharp his little Rottweiler, of " One man and his dog " infamy, paid with a cushy little job on the board. Denise a CEO, really under qualified for that job but who cares Bill is running the clown show. Denise was really good with EITC and should really have stayed there.

Exactly.

People have had enough now, this has gone on for too long

Alternatively, they're just utterly incompetent.

I know what my money is on.

Doesn't say what the dialogue is and they (Moshimon) clearly isn't that bothered given he got rid of the AGMs.
