There is no evidence that DBB is lying about being assaulted either.

The board need to go thats clear but there is a misogynistic feel of "that hags lying about being attacked" which doesn't sit right with me.

Attack the board for their governance but lets leave that type of nonsense by the door at least until we have proof that she is lying.

It's Bill + couple of friends now focussed on self preservation + exit strategy.

If there's been abuse + threats, that's wrong + rightly condemned by vast majority of fans.

Today's statement + briefings were the first (very effective) shots in PR offensive.

More to come tomorrow/this week from friendly journos absolving Bill/board + making Moshiri/fans the real villains.

If there was physical attack on CEO, that's unforgivable + should've been made public 10 days ago, not today.

Part of Everton died today. Genuinely, there's no coming back for the board after this.

We support a football club, who are clear second best in their own city (hurts I know). God knows how we maintain our support and numbers, probably through passion and damn right spite for the RS.

The club have offered absolutely nothing for Evertonians for two generations, the third generation is about to see their club relegated.
Why, why would anyone support Everton if you're growing up round here, truthfully though?

The board picking a fight with these very same fans, the fans who literally are this club. Everton are absolutely nothing without this fanbase. Nothing.
Absolute horrors.

Special thanks must go to bill kenwright going into a massive game at home when the whole club should be focussed on getting a win and he pulls one of the most shameful stunts ever connected to Everton. I dont believe for a second what his mates in the press are reporting. He took the whole atmosphere out of the game coz everyone was talking about what hed done. I dont blame the supporters at all. Your the chairman for f**** sake. You are meant to be bigger than this. Shame on you.

I don't understand the mentality of the board tbh, if your 77 yrs old and recieving death threats, why stick around? Just retire and live off your other business. Why put yourself through the stress of it all.
Same for DBB, if your getting spat at, headlocked and stuff thrown at you, why stay?

The club resembles that Villa side who went down about 8 or 9 years ago, with (I think) Sherwood and Garde as managers, and were eventually sold just after they went down

We are in a similar spiral and there is no way to stop the slide. I think we are basically in the same position. If Villa can implode like they did and not being able to respond, then there's no reason to expect us to stop the slide.

I'll preface this by saying (obviously) if it happened it's not on and the person who did it should be suitably punished.

However. This happened like 10 days ago, why are we hearing about this when a statement is released that this sort of report would support?

I look forward to the police report being released to support these claims as the timing is very, very coincidental.

That board have declared war on our fans with this statement. Going to the media to declare us as thugs like its the 80s is disgusting.

Of course I don't condone any aggressive behaviour. Especially cause of something so trivial as football.
My point is purely if I felt so unliked and unwanted by people, in a situation I didn't need to be in. I would remove myself.
