The Everton Board Thread

Honestly don’t why people would be calling for that. Need to be real here we look likely atm to go down at present. Best thing we can do is get the useless crap out the club and replace with actual professionals. If we stay up great, if we don’t least we have a proper board to give us the best chance of getting back up and moving forward. Imagine been in the championship with the current board, we will drop down right down to the abyss.
That's a matter for debate whethewr that lot would be done for as boiard members. What I can assure about though is that the owner...IE the main culprit in our downfall....WILL still be here....and he'd hire more flnkies to run the club.

So I guess the board are going to stay silent until the end of the season ? Literally battening the hatches in their bunker hoping this will blow over ?

Isn’t it incumbent on them to communicate and engage even if it’s for their own self preservation ?

Seriously no leadership at this club from top to bottom

This board couldnt make a correct decision to save their own lives. Just think about the thought process thats gone into this smear campaign against the supporters. 2 scenarios. Remember the announcement of non attendance was premeditated and it took 11 days for them to mention threats and assault. 1. The board sack lampard before the man u cup game. They bring in a new manager for southampton at home. They call for everyone to get behind the club and new manager. I would think that the supporters behind the planned protests would have called off the protest for the good of the club. Coach welcome goes ahead and there would be a proper Goodison atmosphere from the crowd. Everyone is seen in a good light. Nah these idiots plan a smear campaign against the supporters!!! accusing them of assaulting the ceo of the club. They werent thinking of the good of the club. They didnt care if we lost that game. The result a fanbases reputation dragged through the mud by bills mates in the media and a divide between supporter and board that cannot be fixed. They are finished. They have painted themselves into a corner and its all of their own making. It just didnt have to be like this. And still lampard is the manager.

I hope this can unite the fanbase the same way it did in 1998 when peter johnson was in charge. Like then the enemy is in the boardroom and like then i hope the whole fanbase can rally behind the cause of keeping the club in the premier league. Our attendances actually went up as the supporters realised that the future safety of the club was being put at risk by the owner and boardroom. Personal grievences against the board the team and the owner were put to one side while the match was on.The crowd fought like it was life and death and i remember them being some of the best aggressive bear pit atmospheres ive been a part of.We stayed up on the last day and the pitch invasion that followed told johnson exactly where to go. If you want rid of this classless board and bumbling owner we have to stay in the division. All the feelings we are all going through now are exactly the same as then. There is nothing left to do but fight. UTFT.
