The Everton Board Thread

Did he give his name the ex- commercial director of Everton, he should know quite a lot more of how Kenwright operates and hopefully reveal this information. It’s all starting to unravel bit by bit so the real face of Billy Boy emerges.
He had his name on the space but I can’t remember what it is. Think he said he runs a sports marketing business now. Was interesting in what he said about Brighton as well.
Said the Brighton owner Tony Bloom is a massive gambler or is involved in the gambling industry. Said he has an office in London that employs hundreds of analysts just looking at player data from around the world. Said this is how they are able to get up and coming players for cheap with high ceilings. They then sell them on for massive profits.
He said most teams do this and have been for a while. Bar us obviously.

Interesting talk and a Twitter space last night. I’m sure a few on here listened to it. Ex-commercial director of Everton came on and gave a bit of insight into the workings of the club.

He said he did the Chang deal which brought in an extra £2 million when the club was desperate for cash. Said he came in the next day and Bill had blown the cash on Franny Jeffers who Moyes didn’t even want and never played him. Said Bill had a habit of doing things of his own back.

Also said Denise is badly out of her depth at Premier League meetings as she has no really knowledge of football. All of the other clubs have people with footballing knowledge running them.

He then said he was forced to quit by Bill due to backing Paul Greggs takeover and not supporting Kenwright.

I'm wrestling with my conscience because I don't want anyone hounded out the club. I don't want the players hounded when they leave the ground and don't want the people on the board hounded or threatened. Well not that I believe there was any credible threat to them. There will always be cranks, rogue fans and ferel rats. We just want change at the club and a bit of humility. The club has been declining for years not just under Moshiri. Clearly that's too much to ask when Moshiri comes out with that drivel not once but twice, and DBB came out with that drivel in the programme on Boxing Day. The gaslighting is however the turning point.

They have to go. Moshiri's money has been welcomed but hasn't been spent well. He's not a football man. He's been misadvised and misguided by whom well that's open to debate. His failures include not replacing the board when he arrived or at least 12 months in. The principle board member & chairman Kenwright remained and still remains. Wouldn't you think he would call it a day? The picture is painted egotistical Kenwright won't go by his own reckoning. I think laid bare Kenwright and DBB must removed for Everton FC to have a blank canvass. Moshiri sells up and hopefully a new board, chairman CEO come in with a new owner.

Then there's Lampard and the players. I don't know if we can trust the current owner and board to make the right decision but something has to give. 3 wins 19th place, it's simply not good enough.

Got weirdly upset listening to that. Club really have thrown every single one of us to the wolves just for supporting such a horrendously run club.
Yet another horrendous miscalculation by the Everton board. I think they've not just burned their bridges with the fans, they've done it with the media as well. I said yesterday, that there has been a sudden shift in reporting with lots of focus now on the board and moshiri. They may well have forced themselves into a position were resignation is the only way to fix things.

Very good of Ian wright to say sorry. You look at most pundits Gary Neville for example Speke highly of us. I do feel the media narrative is switching quickly to how crap and useless this board has been.

I definitely have the feeling they've kicked off their own downfall with this and we'll be shot of them fairly soon.
