The Everton Board Thread

The Echo is confirming multiple sources within the club passed them the Headlock story.

We know Merseyside Police were not told of any headlock or any other incidents.

So at best you've got either a safety situation. That wasn't reported to authorities or you have club officials sharing rumours and exaggerated false statements that paint the support in a terrible light.

I find it much more believable that this was an atrocious PR play that has blown up in their face.

We cannot let them sweep it under the rug and move on.

100% mate. This can't just be swept under the carpet.

This doesn't end on their say so the cheeky horrible parasites.

they’ve tried to blame us for them being bad at they’re job

bill and co it’s time to go

If you separate yourself from the emotion or consequences of this situation for a minute...

How epically the board are stumbling and revealing the curtain on their stupidity across the country is something to be admired.

I would love nothing more than for some irrefutable evidence to appear that proves this was nothing more than an inside job.

How great it would be to see Bill Kenwright's plan blow up in his face as the headline of every broadcaster.

What a parting gift that would be to see Moshiri throw Bill under the bus publicly and shield himself from the situation.

"Bill acted alone". ?

Assume since management here have commented on it and it's public anyway this is ok to post up from NSNO on Twitter. Former comms director Ian Ross showing how Kenwright's Everton have always gone about supporter relations

so what’s he said on it all? we are the blame not the board?

Was saying that the board should have put out there what the security threats were etc that made them come to their decision to stay away. Also said that no one can 'instruct' the board to stay away, only advise them, but at the end of the decision the board make the call whether they go or not and he thinks they should have been at the game and faced up to the issues.
