Was saying that the board should have put out there what the security threats were etc that made them come to their decision to stay away. Also said that no one can 'instruct' the board to stay away, only advise them, but at the end of the decision the board make the call whether they go or not and he thinks they should have been at the game and faced up to the issues.

If anyone (never mind the female CEO) has been assaulted on the grounds of EFC then it's incumbent upon them to show action!

Release information on how long the perpetrator has been banned for.

Also let's go back to the timeline.

The Athletic say that's the first time media were given the statement at 12pm in the media room.

So in less than 11 minutes they've talked through the statement, answered any questions and also given wider context to specific events before Juliette Ferrington has then posted her tweet about the manhandling.

I know a lad who got a three year ban for pitch encroachment when he was just over the side not even on the grass , loads of lads ejected for not sitting down or gestures, arguing with their mates that’s not to mention all the ridiculous arrests . The idea that you can headlock the ceo apparently without repercussion, if they’re suggesting that welfare of staff and fans is important to them I’m unsure how you square that circle .

All fans did that, did they, Simon?

He didn't see that. It never happened. His manager kicked an Everton teenager twice - and he was then escorted away by Everton fans to safety.

That's what he saw. That's the only physical attack that took place.
