As a PR exercise this has been a debacle by the club. They need to stop talking. We're in the 3rd week of a 4 and a half week transfer window and they seem to be spending it briefing journalists.

The more I think about this the more I just get angry. The club leaked to the media that our CEO was attacked and also publicly stated that they had credible intelligence which implied our directors could be at risk of harm, yet they didn't share ANY of this information with the police!?

That's not just stupid that is downright negligent.

These lot are either corrupt or stupid. Either way, get the hell out of this club you pathetic bunch of amateurs.

These threats that caused them to miss the game and announce their safety concerns to the media must have been bad but just under the threshold to report it to the police. I’m assuming that’s a thin line between those two .
