The Everton Board Thread

I think it's great the board are acting like this, we've known for years that they're completely incompetent at their jobs but nobody would listen.

Now the whole country and the whole of the media can see for themselves what utter clowns they are.

Nobody had to provide the rope for them to hang themselves they've hung it up all on their own the absolute loons.

Every briefing and statement released just provides more proof of their ineptness. I was angry to begin with but think I'll just sit back and enjoy them embarrassing themselves from now on.

It’s their sycophants and shills I’m more irked towards at this stage. I knew things weren’t right years ago and I have no problem with fans disagreeing. The silent ones are bad enough but It’s the ones who know, as I have known, things were iffy but when on a crusade to belittle people , dampen unrest and try to cool off criticism.

I hope their perks come to an end when all this is over.

The club now appear to have unearthed an account that the incident (friendly, matey hug or a full on vicious headlock has not been clarified?) occurred at a previous unspecified home game, which is odd, but most believe to be the Brighton game. If this matter was dealt with 'internally' surely the identity of the alleged offender is known; has he been banned from the ground? Has he been refused further access to the directors' box? If not, then is he a corporate client (or a mate) and the club have had one eye on the income accrued from the corporate client and prefer the money to discipline decisions. It begs the question, was the same individual in attendance at the Southampton game, or not? Furthermore, if in the environs of the directors box the individual will more likely be part of the management 'in crowd' and with no connection to any subsequent planned peaceful protest in the ground for the Southampton match. This still needs clarification to clear that matter up.

The issue of alleged emails should be easy for the recipients to pursue and if in breach of the criminal law dealt with by prosecution.

These matters can not be just forgotten, they are serious allegations which besmirch the reputation of the club and fanbase. They should should have been reported as soon as possible and acted upon proactively. That said, if it's all been blown out of proportion and distorted, it is a shocking route to take. A series of poor decisions seem to have created a total shambles being played out on social media, it's like a pantomine.

I believe it was Purple Aki mate, asked Kenwright to feel his muscles after the headlock apparently......
