So 2million to sack him, another 2m to replace him, lets say another 2m for staff, leaves us 4million to hire good lawyers.

You reckon FL and his staff wouldn't want the full length of their remaining contract paying up ?
They'd have had to agree to severance clauses when they came on board and I would be very sceptical that they agreed to that.

I think it's standard for sacked managers to get paid off over a number of years . Spreading the payment also helps the tax position for those who are dismissed . When Lampard goes there is also Joe Edwards ,Paul Clement and Ashley Cole to share the taxi. Might as well add Thelwell to that list.

Seems a strange move.

It's at a point he's got rid of so many and there isn't any outstanding candidate left. He's seen Silva do okay elsewhere and probably thinks if he'd given him time all would have been OK.

If it were my call I'd probably sack Frank as he hasn't shown much in the whole year he has been here, but I can see where it might be beneficial for the club to get to the end of the window now chasing the targets they already have without another voice to add to the mix and then give him the Arsenal and Rs games as a free hit. If we've picked up that's one thing, if we are still languishing then he'll have to be given the boot.

Asked my old man if he was happy for me to sign it, he was a BK fan, convinced him over last few weeks needs a top down change, he agreed so signed for him.

Will keep it going as much as I/We can, if we could aim for 15-20k would be significant message sent.
