This is nothing against Graeme or any of the other former players riding the gravy train, but we can’t keep following the same formula and expecting to change the mentality of the club.

I've met Sharp a few times and he's a nice person who genuinely loves the club, but (and it's a big but) he knows which side one's bread is buttered on.

He knows when to toe the party line and as such I doubt how much he'll really push and challenge the leaders (well, owner) of the club.

Any governing body, like a board of directors, need to ensure accountability rather than being yes and no; I hope Sharp won't be the latter, but I have doubts.

He isnt playing anything, Kenwright was done 6 years ago, the start of real decline.
Don't forget if Kenwright had a say we would have Moyes now.

Appointments like these show why we are never going to progess at all. Appointing ex players to the board, managers who are 10 years past their best , players that are woeful.
There is only one way this will eventually end up. In any business if you don't make plans for the future and strive to improve it goes tits up .

This is the reason Dunc is untouchable as assistant manager. The club think the fans want to see old players in main roles - we want to see the best people. Not a hanger on.
