The Everton Board Thread

Probably because he's clueless about football and easily duped by a supposed "experienced football man".

As much as our fans know BK is a shyster he's someone who certainly has knowledge about football/the industry and having been chairman for decades overseeing the period where we "punched above our weight" its not out the realms of possibilty that he could easily con an amateur in the industry like Moshiri into giving him control/influence.

I've suspected for a while they'll be some clause in the sale of the club that kept Kenwright on in some capacity.

Why have we got a person that’s clueless about football running our football club? Why has he been involved in football for decades and is still clueless about it?

Sorry if this appears rude but, when are you appearing on Mastermind with ‘stating the bloody obvious’ as your specialist subject ?

Our board is woefully small as it is, the fact that Moshiri allows this to happen suggests he is completely absent from the club now or that he is happy to continue the Kenwright cronyism.

Everton loses either way. I like Sharp as a bloke but has he ever even had a real job?
He was a pretty decent centre forward many, many moons ago

Official announcement.

It came down to him or Jose Baxter but Sharp's Stage 3 interview performance secured him the role.

If this was any Club but my own I'd find this appointment hysterical.

We aren't far away from relegation / implosion the way this Club is run.

It seems 'If we build a new stadium everything will fall into place' is the thought process.

I read one POSSIBLE reasoning for this, the club needs 3 members on its Board. DBB is trying to leave but cannot because of that. So maybe this is to allow her to leave then get a new CEO involved?

It's still a face_palm however you put it.
