Defin-AteleyThinking about it, the AGM is on its way. Sharp will probably be the sacrificial lamb to field all the “challenging questions”
A lot of people are disturbed by the fact that Kenwright is behind this and is evidence of him still pulling strings.
Tbf as @ForeverBlue92 has stated he’s pulled off what might be one of the greatest heists of all time, retaining full control while getting someone else to fund it.

"We were determined to have someone join us who is a yes man and will bow down to me and follow my every word, whilst dragging this club down to the lowest league possible".
We are a mess.
Tell me about it, the echo reporting it as a major decision, you couldn't make that up!Its honestly the height of stupidity, if he had played for Man City the years he played for us - would we appoint him as a board member? No way....why? because hes not qualified and offers nothing apart from having played for Everton over 20 years ago.
Kin madness.
Nail on head. Part of our problem is we have a poorly functioning board with no apparent expertise in respect of business planning or strategy and a lack of any real power to change things. In the real world non-executive directors typically have a specific area of expertise (finance, law, HR etc) and advise businesses on those matters. They are also there to challenge executive directors decisions to make sure they’re doing the best thing for the business and shareholders.
In Everton’s world? His job will be to nod when Kenwright gives him the pre-agreed signal in board meetings.
