This has really, REALLY got to me.

If ever we needed final proof that Moshiri is simply there to fund us (up to a point) and the day to day is left to the greatest living Evertonian, this is it.

Everton, as a club won't progress until Kenwright is forcibly removed, along with all of his arse sniffers (other members of staff AND local press) or he's in the ground.

Our board, is without doubt the most amateur operation in the UK. I'd honestly sooner have Robbie Savage as Chairman.

A lot of people are disturbed by the fact that Kenwright is behind this and is evidence of him still pulling strings.

Tbf as @ForeverBlue92 has stated he’s pulled off what might be one of the greatest heists of all time, retaining full control while getting someone else to fund it.

Maybe some fans will realise what Benitez is trying to change but it looks like he is the lone voice opposing what has gone on for twenty years. Everton will continue to go down hill with appointments like this , Sharp offers nothing except a vote for Billy Boy and will challenge absolutely nothing. The club is goosed.

Graeme Sharp is no doubt an Everton legend, a winner, I have no doubt he gets Everton, that he understands what the fans want (which isn't that hard let's be honest), but....

This isn't the 80s anymore. Football in 2022 is not football from 1982.

If he is that visionary why hasn't he been brought in sooner rather than just flying around Asia going to 'soccer schools' or sitting in the lounges telling stories or what ever he's been doing.

TBH, I've no idea what everton fans want.
You'd think they wanted kenwright out for the last 10 years going by what we see on here.
You'd think Benitez would have been out in November
You'd think Moshiri might be held to account
But years ago when I saw Kenwright being clapped at goodison and then again when I saw only a handful of people protest at the Arsenal game and take grief for it, I've no idea what Everton fans want.
For all I know, the vast majority probably fully support Sharp being on the board.

Remember him on the Legends radio show a few years back, I used to call up sometimes on the way home from work and voice my thoughts.

He was nothing but a mouthpiece for Kenwright at that time and I’m guessing nothing will have changed.

Sadly though when he did speak it seemed to be of very low intelligence and just in media sound bites.

If ever there was a “jobs for the boys” appointment, it’s this one.

One of the things that impressed me most about Marco was when he talked in his initial interview about building that connection between the fans and the players. It is so important that the manager is on the same wavelength as our supporters - and he is.

This time around they did a complete 180 and went in the opposite direction then. lol lol
