The Everton Board Thread

Got to say, a lot of the people who are slagging Sharpy off clearly no nothing about him at all. Yes man my ass, he is one of the few genuine Everton legends that deserves the status and speaks his mind regardless of what others think. So what if he stopped playing football decades ago, most football club boards are predominantly experienced older people. He bleeds blue and is bang up to date with everything Everton and everything football. Get Reidy alongside him too i say and lets start getting proper representation instead of the bunch of unconnected half wits that have dominated the board for so long.

I am absolutely delighted to have Sharpy on the board and its about bloody time.

Hi Bill

On reflection and reading the last 10 pages or so this doesn't seem as weird as I originally thought. If indeed DBB is offski as much rumoured then the Board by-laws say that we need 3 board-members to effect a decision. A decision such as sacking the manager for instance!
surely its sensible to put a completely non thinking puppet in place to preserve that capability than actually find a new Board member with the prerequisite experience and skills.
BTW for all those who think Moshiri is in charge, I couldn't agree more but he has clearly delegated day to day running of the club while he has got better things to do (like making money).

This was my thinking, Blue Bill positioning himself with an ally to oust Bemitez.

Moshiri doesn't make this appointment. Bill Kenwright has his grubby little hands all over this. It's really quite sad how this club is turning out. Kenwright is killing this club & Moshiri is seemingly allowing it due to his naivety in running a football club. All the gear & no idea is Moshiri.
Kenwright 'loves' us so much it's now smothering to the point of choking us out. Graham Sharp isn't going to turn down a place on the board is he & Billy gets another yes man. Now we have 3 clowns with no idea. Denise wants out & i don't blame her & the main odd one out was Brands who simply couldn't do his job because of the incompetence of the others sucking the life out of him.
Brands was the 'challenge' to the board & was hugely unsuccessful at the job he was brought in to do because he wasn't allowed to do it properly. Brands made mistakes. He allowed himself to be walked over & facilitate moves for players he didn't want then allowed himself to become the fall guy for those deals. He didn't fit in with the 'jobs for the boys' mantra & it's becoming very clear now. I also question why he took on a directors role too when he knew full well his hands were tied. Like 'Sharpy' nobody turns down a directors role i suppose. Maybe Brands thought more influence means he could get his point across but in reality he was always outnumbered & eventually ousted.
Behind those crying eyes & soppy demeanor of Kenwright lives a control freak who has seemingly conned a billionaire into paying for the control he could no longer afford.
Get Kenwright out of this club now.
