The Everton Board Thread

This has really, REALLY got to me.

If ever we needed final proof that Moshiri is simply there to fund us (up to a point) and the day to day is left to the greatest living Evertonian, this is it.

Everton, as a club won't progress until Kenwright is forcibly removed, along with all of his arse sniffers (other members of staff AND local press) or he's in the ground.

Our board, is without doubt the most amateur operation in the UK. I'd honestly sooner have Robbie Savage as Chairman.
I can't understand how people do not understand the power structure at Everton.

The club is controlled by one man... Moshiri.... or two if you count Usmanov.

Everybody else is there at the behest of the owner including Bill Kenwright.
Marcel Brands was a director in some of the Everton companies and was removed when he was sacked.
Bill Kenwright, DBB and everybody else is there while Moshiri wants them to be there and he may listen to their advice but is under no pressure to act on that advice.

The appointment of Graeme Sharp illustrates clearly what is the role of the board... it is to do what Moshiri tells it to do.

The comparison between Facebook and Twitter to the news is something.

If ever any topic demonstrated how Twitter isn't representative...

Kenwright has just strengthened his position at the club as Sharpy ( what sort of professional company has the chairman referring to a new member of the board by his nickname ) will never go against him as he is the ultimate yes man. If any one thought that Kenwright was not still running the club this weeks events have hammered it home that he seems to have 100% control on all club matters.
We will never move forward while he is still on the board , He must resign immediately he already is the most unsuccessful manager in Evertons history have we got to wait until he tops it off with a relegation?

Reidy next
As joking as that may seem, I'd have Reidy on that board everyday of the week.
Whatever you may think he's not a "yes man" in any form. He's always willing to challenge what he believes is wrong and frequently critisizes the goverment/labour/efc etc...
Him and crazy Nev on that board would be a refreshingly welcome kick in the goollies for the 'jolly old pals act' that permatates throughout our club.

Got to say, a lot of the people who are slagging Sharpy off clearly no nothing about him at all. Yes man my ass, he is one of the few genuine Everton legends that deserves the status and speaks his mind regardless of what others think. So what if he stopped playing football decades ago, most football club boards are predominantly experienced older people. He bleeds blue and is bang up to date with everything Everton and everything football. Get Reidy alongside him too i say and lets start getting proper representation instead of the bunch of unconnected half wits that have dominated the board for so long.

I am absolutely delighted to have Sharpy on the board and its about bloody time.
