As Dyche said: we need our forward minded forwards to contribute goals and we need to make use of our set piece situations.

There's plenty of examples down the years of teams playing without a target man and getting at opposition teams and making it their own style of play.

Doucoure scored 17 for Watford, Garner scored 4 for Forest on loan last season, Gueye scored 6 for PSG, Gray has scored 8 since arriving last season, Iwobi has scored 16 PL goals, Maupay scored 26 for Brighton, Tarkowski has scored 8 PL goals and Coady 7.
There are 16 games left to play. Judging by their previous numbers of PL goals per game, we may expect the following:

Doucoure: 0.1 x 16
Garner: N/A
Gueye: 0.02 x 16
Gray: 0.1 x16
Iwobi: 0.08
Maupay: 0.23

Bear in mind, Dyche doesn't seem to fancy Gray or Maupay, the two most prolific players at his disposal.

The two centre-backs each have a record of 1 in 27/28, so not exactly a sure bet.

I'd say there's more chance of another Hans Segers emerging than a Kevin Campbell, but I'm not even sure there's enough FFP wiggle room to pay for a bung.

Jesus Christ Dave, that’s a stretch

Doucoure 17 in 155 games, around 1 in 10 for watford
Gray 8 in 55 for us, an attacking threat, 1 in 6 for us
Iwobi 16 goals in 205 games, 1 in 12.

Gueye was playing in a farmers league with Messi, Mbappe and about £600m worth of world class talent.

They average a goal every 9 games; so with 16 left we may, if lucky, get 2 out of those combined.

We’re 19th & 18th for goals scored & shots.

That tells you everything you need to know about the team we have. We now have no focal point for a manager who plays hoof ball

Yeah there is no way Moshiri is innocent. It’s been a lazy purchase by him…a marriage of convenience to keep the current board in place - not sure why there seems to be a binary position taken by a lot of posters through….e.g. it’s BK or it’s FM. It can actually be all of them…..they are complicit either directly or indirectly, or a larger or lesser extent, by either making bad decisions or enabling them.

BUT the manager has been removed and a new one appointed - that was step 1. Step 2 is removal of the current board…..BK can’t be involved in the club either as owner or chairman for 25 years and all we have to show for it is a list of failed commercial opportunities and only one FA Cup final. Beyond that FM should sell up. They ALL should leave the club but at the appropriate time that is in the best interests of the club. I hope there is some serious succession planning either on a permanent or temporary basis if needs be to make their departures a reality sooner rather than later.
Amen!!!

These are in no way shape or form actually endorsements of these players.

Put down the Tsingtao Dave, it`s too early to be drinking.

Id rather MSP tbh as they seem to be actual sports specialist investors whereas 777 are just a large investment group who do a bit of everything.
Looking at the website, it seems like they employ specialists in each sector. I liked the sound of this:

"777 has acquired an unrivaled portfolio of marquee football and basketball clubs around the world; operated under a disciplined, data-driven philosophy and accelerated by technology to become one of the most exciting media and entertainment brands in the world."

Problem with MSP is being specialists they could take one look at Moshiri, who is not a sport person, analyse what he has done and realise working with him is too risky

website needs updating in a few places, such as the page about Sevilla where they still have Lopetegui listed as manger. It's good to have competition though in terms of bids, let's hope one comes off.
