The Everton Board Thread

Its the way of society now - too many Internet experts who think they know how to run multi million pound industries all whilst they work at the Co-op stacking shelves for a living 🤷‍♂️

Anyone who has a true understanding of whats going on at the club appreciates that DBB has had no hand to play in our decline since the 1980's.

She's also a nice lady who loves the club.
Is that you Rhino?

1. Record Sponsership Deal
2. Overseen BMD being built

Lets not forget Robert Elstone (who's chief executive of a sporting organisation and has an MBE for sport) oversaw 3 failed ground moves during his time as CEO.

Everton were also a top 7 team under most of Elstones time as CEO - DBB has taken over at a time of constant managerial sackings, poor recruitment and a lack of coherent strategy in terms of the owner/chairman - yet fans expect her to be delivering $50 million sponsers when we're going backwards on the pitch with no european exposure !
Record sponsorship deals are the minimum expectation, anything other than that is just complete failure. She made a grandstand on gambling and accepted a deal from a shady company involved in both cryptocurrency and gambling which the club were forced into accepting due to the financial situation she is responsible for overseeing.

As for the stadium, as far as I can tell it is running on schedule but is reportedly 50% over the original budget. Still no funding partner, again mainly due to the financial situation DBB is responsible for overseeing.

And well, the less said about the sporting side of the organization the better.

The directors at EFC are the second highest paid in the PL and are earning remuneration consistent with senior execs at smaller FTSE 100 companies that are an order of magnitude larger and more complex than Everton.

Hasn't this already been explained by the recent Q&A that it is down to Brands being a director as well as the DoF?

In the last published annual accounts the highest paid director is reported as earning over £2m pa…that can only be Kenwright or DBB.

Brands is included in the remaining £2m of the overall £4m paid to all directors serving on the board during that financial period.

I would have thought it would have been Brands on the 2 million mark and the other 7 would be sharing the 2 million between them. It is hard to draw concrete conclusions to work out roughly what each might earn from all of this though as you had a few resign and you had an onboarding, along with covid where they might of deferred some of their wages during that time frame.

As Brands left part way through, that 2 million may have contained his severance package.

I think Brands severance will be in the accounts up to end June 22 which are not available yet.

Shareholders can see service contracts. Kenwright and Baxendale are technically employees of the company

Well yeah, we sell Gordon and bought NOBODY, that's Farhads new Everton.
Remember years ago when we had terrible transfer windows buying nobody, Moshiri has bought that back
But Kenwright was one of those that failed to get one in. Moshiri wasn't the one ringing around, he was paying the others to get the job done.
You blame Moshiri but Kenwright still got paid for not doing his job
