What you have to consider Matty is that if we go down then we can’t afford this wonderful magical all singing all dancing stadium with the vibrating seats and head massagers, and will likely be playing at Tranmere or still at Goodison while that gets turned into an Odeon. So actually it is in our best interests to bob around in 15th place and continue taking the Premier League TV money in order to pay back the stadium which will take years and years.

I was just looking at some numbers before, and the highest wage bill in the Championship is Watford at just over £26m!! Then think of our wage bill now, we are going to be left with literally a couple of young lads the amount of money that will need to be cut back and that's not including money needed to make any further additions.

My worry is that there continues to be zero interest in our crap players than are on upwards of £70k a week and they have to stay. Dele Alli is back don’t forget, who we can’t even afford to play otherwise it’ll trigger a £10m payment. LOL.

Yeah there is no way we can take the likes of Keane and Gbamin on £70k a week down to the Championship, Alli is another one, christ even Mykolenko is on £50k a week.

Not sure about that….yes there is the Grand Prix, but they do not appear to me to be the type of guys to mix in social circles. They are U.S based and I think the Spuds owner is based in the Bahamas I think so not far fetched to think they have had preliminary meetings over there, unless you definitely know different then I defer to your knowledge.

Listen, there was literally NOTHING in that previous report of them being interested in Spurs. They aren't. Its too expensive relative to what they could get out of it. Unlike Everton who's shares are decently priced relative to a potential return (increased share prices). Everton are technically a 'distressed asset'. There are reasons why they are looking to get into Everton. Good business reasons.

They also will not want Bill Kenwright or Denise Barrett-Baxendale remaining on the board. No investor will.

Yes. Remember the crisis Sunderland were in when they went down? Their highest earners were Lamine Kone and Jack Rodwell on £70k each. That is a LOW wage for our players.

No, some of it has been a bit OTT but she has been having a massive go at fans repeatedly now acting like fans are responsible for the clubs issues, she needs to learn to keep quiet at times. She lives of the fact she is dixies granddaughter and constantly reminds people of that fact and a lot of people are fed up with her basically

LFC - their fans think their club is the greatest, their fans are the greatest, all their players are world class, they are better than everyone else.

EFC - our fans think our club is the worst, the board is the worst, the owner is the worst, the squad are the worst, we're the worst club in the universe and if we go down we're dead because no one else has ever gone down in the 'istory of the game.

Not one team with solid finances, a good boardroom, clever owner and squad of good players who'll fetch £200+ millions in sales gets relegated - every single club that goes down is a basket case or poorly managed thats the nature of the beast.

So you can cry about it and act like the worlds ended... or you can pull your big boy pants up and hope its the start of the clubs revival and look to the future.

To be fair I was referencing the purported aims of the group proposing to invest in us ,not our own motto.
I would hope the former is capable of enabling the latter.

If you think the abuse and stuff she has had is acceptable, then i would love to see how you react of ppl did or said the same a female family member of yours.

It's not quite that simple though, I posted before that the highest wage bill in the Championship is Watford at just over £26m, well compare that to what ours is now. Just to comply with restrictions in EFL (which are far stricter that the PL) we are going to be left with literally a couple of youth players/young lads. That's providing we can actually find buys for all the players. None of that even covers any space for restrengthening the squad which would require more money, we are in big, big trouble if we go down. I have not even mentioned the stadium.
