He's no idiot, I don't think he allows himself to be cornered like that, personally I think it suits him for the fans all to be blaming Bill. Don't get me wrong Bill's as capable as anyone but Mosh is the man in charge, its his decisions at this point that count

There is no “reality” that exists where Moshiri can be justifiably defended. Only a delusional world that exists in your own head.

The fact Bill Kenwright is still running this club after 7 years is the fault of Moshiri.

This is the part that really is strange to me. Yes, Bill Kenwright is awful and always has been, and urgently needs to go. But when Moshiri has actually put his people on the board, they include Sarvar Ismailov, who was appointed to the board in July 2021 at age 25 with no real qualifications for being on a big football club's board (other than being Usmanov's nephew). This was a month after an alleged assault of a model that also involved another member of his family. He then resigned less than four months later, shortly before being charged.
It's really difficult to trust that Moshiri would do the right thing if it weren't for Bill Kenwright, when this is the type of person he directly appoints to the board.

If this MSP stuff is for real, it pretty much would need to be them straight up calling the shots for it to work at all.

We don't know MSP intentions are, we are just hoping that this is Moshiris first good decision but time will tell on that.

The big thing with MSP is that yeah, getting that external investment in is important, but even bigger is that they bring actual professionalism to the board. When I realised Jeff Moorad is involved, that's when I became hopeful for it. He's a massive name in in the top levels of American sports business and has been for decades. And yeah, maybe the particulars of English football will be a bit new to them, but the world he in particular is coming from is incredibly competitive, and he's gotten to the top of it by his professional judgment. That's the type of person the club needs around.

Bill Kenwright cares deeply about Everton and would never willingly harm the club

Oh Jenny. He willingly harmed the club by holding on to his shareholding for 15 years too long so that he could make a killing on it, instead of selling to investors who could have taken the club forward early in his ownership.

Any owner who truly cared deeply about their club rather than themselves would have done this.

Stop it please, you make yourself look a bigger and bigger sycophantic happy clapper with almost every post you make defending Kenwright.
He has overseen decline practically from the moment he assumed control of the club.
He's never invested in the club he pupports to love.
He's made idiotic, narcissistic appointments - namely Elstone and then DBB to CEO, and Sharp to Exec Director - to name just three.
He's lied on umpteen occasions and the cherry on the cake is the scandalous Headlockgate saga which, is far from resolved.

Good that you're beginning to notice it, the man is a parody, he goes far beyond just supporting Kenwright, for me and I could be wrong, Carlin is a wum and loves winding up fellow blues, over what is a very emotive subject, especially now.
