This is the part that really is strange to me. Yes, Bill Kenwright is awful and always has been, and urgently needs to go. But when Moshiri has actually put his people on the board, they include Sarvar Ismailov, who was appointed to the board in July 2021 at age 25 with no real qualifications for being on a big football club's board (other than being Usmanov's nephew). This was a month after an alleged assault of a model that also involved another member of his family. He then resigned less than four months later, shortly before being charged.
It's really difficult to trust that Moshiri would do the right thing if it weren't for Bill Kenwright, when this is the type of person he directly appoints to the board.
If this MSP stuff is for real, it pretty much would need to be them straight up calling the shots for it to work at all.
