I really enjoy your posts mate whether I agree or not, we need more independent thinkers and diversity of thought on here then just the usual group think.

Remember some people pity you because you are different, but the real pity lies with those who are just all the same.

A wise man once told @ForeverBlue92 that it is easy to hate and difficult to love. All good things are difficult to achieve and all bad things are easy to obtain.

Free thinkers like you and I are currently battling against an EFC social media tidal wave of misinformation, agenda's & half baked truths.

When we had Moyes performing minor miracles on a budget no one cared about the poor commercial deals or the lack of money for new signings.
It’s not rocket science though is it…..to be a sustainable business which can compete at the top end of the PL, you can’t just rely on one man (see Clough and Forest/Derby) as prime examples.

You need all aspects of the club to be competitive including being commercially competitive in terms of revenue generation through sponsorship deals, and other enterprising commercial activity. This has always been the truth ….the fact our turnover as a club who is an ever present in the PL is comparable to clubs who have been relegated and promoted once or twice speaks for itself…..shocking ineptitude and if our club had been a publicly listed company that level of incompetence would not have been tolerated…..Kenwright, Wyness, Elstone and DBB would have been booted a long time ago.

Finally, speaking of our two latter CEOs, there are rumours that the current incumbent is looking elsewhere for a career change (having come from Academia and her most recent experience at EiTC) but I see no one lining up to take her and as for Elstone, his commercial and operational gravitas was such that he moved to the Super League and then to Stockport bloody County which he left in May - hardly FTSE 100 companies……just one huge lazy arsed operation at Everton and this has a massive impact on the pitch.

All of what you say mate (which I agree with) is ultimately down to how the club has performed on the field in recent times - the money spent, wages paid and managerial pay offs all of which fall under the chairmans remit.

DBB has done a decent job all tings considered - our shirt sponser matches a London club with a 60k stadium that has played numerous seasons in Europe in recent seasons. Its also higher than Leicester who have won a league title, FA Cup & finished 5th twice in recent seasons.

What more can she realistically do when the clubs got no marketable star players, has no european exposure & is recently stuck in midtable / bottom 6 obscurity ?

You cant just attract top sponsers to pay us top dollar because we were once a big club 30+ years ago. Ultimately on the pitch success determines off the pitch revenues and we're lagging behind the rest.
If all footballing matters fell under the purview of the chairman which there is extensive evidence this isnt accurate whatsoever but let's say your flimsy assertion was true, if only there was someone in the position of power to remove this repeated failure of a chairman like maybe the owner? Why leave him as chairman if he is such a savvy businessman and is the major architect of our woes as you dubiously claim? Maybe because Moshiri is an inept naive owner who has no competence or awareness in running a club. Also your denise apologia is ridiculous as an American I can't even buy a Jersey locally when most clubs can be found at local sports stores or even other online sites besides the official Everton page which you would think would be a no brainer easy move to increase access and brand visibility of club merchandise as one example of her inability to fulfill set duties. CEO should have a background in sport. Brighton have the 3rd lowest wage bill in the league , have a set philosophy of play and contingencies if they lose key players or staff, they are vying for europe spots we are battling regulation for the second year along with facing an investigation about our financial ineptitude, but tell me more how it's all kenwright who by the way once again for the bajillionith time you thick brained invididual was kept on by your beloved oligarch accountant and once again, He didnt have to retain kenwright but he is daft

Kenwrights biggest nightmare is that the club would be successful under someone else's stewardship. His ego could never tolerate that.

That's why he would never have sold to anyone competent, because the first act of anyone with a notion of sense would have been to send him packing.

So we got this marriage of convenience, at the clubs expense. At Moshiris personal expense too no doubt, but Kenwright won't care a jot about that.

I believe his time here is all but over, at long last, but in what state are we reduced to bring that about?

We need to ride out the problems on and off the pitch and clear the obstacles for a sale. Till that time comes this club is just existing day to day and firefighting.

Which is why the club has been allowed to sleepwalk into a sad parody of itself under Kenwright.

Many didn't want to believe that the chickens would eventually come home to roost, but here we are.

Totally agree with this.

2009 and Moshiri arrives while Moyes was in charge and still had the appetite to win the club would be in a different scenario it finds itself in now.

This post is the equivalent of masterbating in public you're not even trying to communicate ideas but stimulate your massive deluded ego. I do agree with your cliched platitude as bad things seem easy to obtain like the syphilis you seem to have contracted that obviously affected your cognitive abilities

I cant agree - most of our financial troubles have stemmed from paying daft wages, spending large sums on players who've underperformed and sacking/paying off too many managers.

Thats ultimately on the field matters and falls at the feet of the Chairman.

If we had a Chairman worth their salt no one would mention DBB but she's verbally assaulted by association which for me is outrageous.

Kenwright is the problem !
Why do the on the field matters fall under the Chairman only and not the CEO?

The CEO also oversees the financial directors and this financial situation developed under her leadership.

She's as responsible for signing off on the accounts as she has been for signing off on the cost overruns of the stadium build.

You praise her for it being on schedule but gladly ignore that it's gone up around 50% in costs.
I see you haven't bothered trying to justify your

Often contrarians masquerade as 'free thinkers' to justify their attention grabbing contrarianism
Not saying that describes you but not saying it doesn't either.
Does it?
