The Everton Board Thread

That article suggests that Myers has had info from Moshiri. I especially liked:

"It's near impossible to see how the current board can reconcile with the fan base and the silence cannot continue: there is no sign of empathy, no sign of an acceptance that they've failed. That won't wash with the majority of supporters now, and for the sake of the club tough decisions need to be taken."

This has felt like the plan for a while.

Investors bring seats on the board, and that represents a good opportunity to mix things up without too much loss of face.

It'd feel more controlled, and look less like they've caved to fan pressure.

I'm happy for them to have that fig leaf. The result is what matters.
Personally I'd prefer him to be paraded down Goodison Road ala game of thrones - shame shame the fat mess. But I suppose as long as we get the slug out that's all that matters

Myers seems to release stuff after a defeat.
Its not wholly inaccurate but I do question the timing of his note book posts.

For the millionth time...

EFC have been and are in discussions over investment be it majority or minority for a number of months, nigh on 12.

Circumstantial evidence suggests we are nearing the endgame for the toxic trio.

1. They have been in hiding for weeks
2. Still nothing from their mouthpiece Prentice
3. Rumours that they are already gone
4. The investment inching closer
5. A positive piece from a reporter (who has clearly spoken with Moshiri) assuring us of changes at the top, further imminent investment, and that BMD will be funded & completed.

I am hoping "imminent" means closer than months away.

Seriously, I'd just settle for his ugly mug photo to be removed from outside the Main Stand. Without fuss, ceremony or publicity. Just not there and gone for good by the next home game. Please let it happen.
