I thought NSNOW too. But it’s not on their website or social media anywhere (and the link @Damo_1878 shared to twitter was deleted yesterday).

Pretty sure it was NSNOW

It'll have been pulled with them mentioning his ill health which probably didn't go down too well in certain quarters.

imo there's no reason to mention his health, as a fit and healthy Kenwright is still a useless chairman and an absolute stain on our history.

Needed pulling.

The reference to Chairman Slug's health was way off the mark. Amateurish, petty and embarrassing. IMO of course.

There's a catalogue of errors he can be hauled over coals for. His health is his and nobody else's business.

They don't need to demand letters. However if they ask him if his health is adequate to continue in the role and he does not answer truthfully he can be sued. That's a fact.

They're not "imagined elements".

They are right there 👇 Fiduciary dutiesView attachment 208869
I feel like I'm talking to an automated menu when I just need to speak to an agent. How are you not getting this?
Read s.172 that you posted and you will see(should see) there is nothing there about answering private health related matters. You are posting something that disproves what you say.
The main focus in a breach of fiduciary duties concerns 'in good faith' and conflicts of interest that negatively affect stakeholder's financial bottom line. Nowhere does it say, nor should it, that anybody who has a few quid invested has the right to full disclosure of medical details

Completely agree. By the looks of twitter, there was a lot of comments about how it was unnecessary and out of line.

They probably need to release a new statement acknowledging their mistake and an updated open letter.

Otherwise, it doesn’t look great as they put it out there, didn’t sign it off as being from their group, and it’s since been widely shared and picked up by journalists. Which is similar to one of the things that everyone is angry at the club for doing.

Another mis-step of that campaign. The first one being at the very beginning to organise a protest against the board on the 2nd of January for the 4th of Februrary and then having to change date.

Now people will distance themselves and any momentum built will be lost. Lack of strategic thinking and unable to 'read the room' that the approach taken with the statement would undermine the message that needed to get across.

A shame.

An apology wouldn't go amiss either tbf.
Thought it disgraceful they stooped so low personally.
Absolutely no need.

At the risk of being criticised for observing that the content of that open letter was in poor taste, I can’t believe it was signed off as ok to make a statement speculating the the Chairman’s health was stopping him perform competently the duties of his office. I applaud and support what they are trying to do, because we all know he and DBB needs to go, but that was over the line.
