Martinez wants the Everton job, you can just tell. Whether he gets offered it by the chumps upstairs is a different story.

How anyone can look at the footy this feller's capable of turniing out from journeymen players and say it's nothing to sit up and take note of is beyond me. He's clearly operating on another level of football intelligence than David Moyes for one.

I'd have Martinez here in a heartbeat.

Unless you want McKay or some 'appoint and hope for the best' internal candidate who's never managed in his life you should pray that Fat Head get's Martinez to come.

My only concern with him is defense, but our defenders are a lot better than Wigan's so that might not be a problem.

His approach seems a lot more positive than what we have been used to with Moyes, and I like that. I think his influence on attacking players would be immense.

Just as long as he brings along McCarthy and McManaman (y)

I have noticed the majority who are against him are the moyes worshipers. They do like their hoof ball.

Agreed mate. Couldn't have put it better myself.

Even amongst those people you'd never get any of them to defend the brand of footy he put out, mate. It was always a defence of him based on how he managed poor finances and gave us us respectability.

It didn't last long

Rather I think the form of the likes of Pienaar and Baines' fitness and the lack of capable replacements has seen us cool off a bit in the last few months. We've still played good stuff and still do (see Pienaar's goal against Fulham).
