Apparently Mancini got on the tube back into London not the team bus hahaha, might be an old picture though

Rather I think the form of the likes of Pienaar and Baines' fitness and the lack of capable replacements has seen us cool off a bit in the last few months. We've still played good stuff and still do (see Pienaar's goal against Fulham).

I've always said we are capable of great footy and do put the odd fantastic move together. Our tactic is hit the front man and pick up the second ball, then we play. The problem is we don't usually get the second ball especially against the better teams. This is why we don't control games like we should with the players we have.

I will admit there have been a few times I've been sat in Goodison this year and thought that if we got the ball down more we'd have been much more dangerous. The Fellaini tactic has worked wonders in some games and less so in others, but I think, overall, we've had a good mix of direct and passing football. I wouldn't call it hoofball anyway.

Good game, good on Wigan, Mcmanaman, Watson, good stuff, Martinez is a genius, you can see he's going to go places, I'd take him at our place after that display if Wigan would let him go!

I will agree its not been as bad as other seasons, when we play not many teams can live with us but we don't do it enough and we never seem to do it for a full game.

So when Martinez comes to GP can he bring the FA cup with him.... To think that of the last 3 managers of Swansea, 2 of them have won a cup, and 1 hasn't..........

Really pleased for Wigan. Thought they were the better team throughout. Conceded the single goal during the run, and won every game away from home, plus did well to recover from Dave Whelan's leg break 53 years ago.

How anyone can look at the footy this feller's capable of turniing out from journeymen players and say it's nothing to sit up and take note of is beyond me. He's clearly operating on another level of football intelligence than David Moyes for one.

I'd have Martinez here in a heartbeat.

Unless you want McKay or some 'appoint and hope for the best' internal candidate who's never managed in his life you should pray that Fat Head get's Martinez to come.

I hope that we get him too - he ticks nearly all the boxes. But what may prove to be a problem is the lack of consistency in his team's performances. One minute they can make the best teams look ordinary and the next minute they look less than ordinary themselves. He'd have to find a way around that IMO if he came to Goodison.
