Argentina haven't half had it lucky this tournament - got through a group after losing to the Saudis, beating the worst Mexico side in decades, and playing a Poland side aiming to lose by 2 goals or less.
Played the worst side remaining in the tournament in the last 16. Scraped past the Dutch after two fortunate goals. Got an absolutely knackered Croatia in the semis.
If they win today I hope it is convincing so it at least feels somewhat deserved

Not yet,give him time although he did little in the last two games,might show his natural brilliance in todays final. Messi deserves to be mentioned alongside any of the greats of the past or present players no matter what happens today.

Don’t mind Stu Holden in the booth. Quite good for a footballer
