Messi is clearly better than Ronaldo, no doubt and not my point here, but, like Mbappe today, Ronaldo can only do something when he gets the ball. Against the Moroccans, who I felt were good value for their win to be fair, they didn't get him into the game at all.

Ronaldo is 37 now. He's is not going to be the player he was. Messi seems to be keeping his prime for now but neithers longevity can be used to determine who is/was the best as they were both exceptional for many years.
