Would be great to be run by competent business people. I've not seen Everton run well, ever, really. That's a huge thing for me, because of the massive upsides that go with it. It's ridiculous to reflect on how we've been mismanaged for decades.

Absolutely spot on. Not once during the PL era can we say we've been run in a way that is fitting of Everton Football Club.
The only time we've come remotely close was becisse Kenwright fluked a David Moyes to save his bacon and Moyes was a sensible manager overall when it came to spending.
