Placing the club solely in Moshiri’s name allowed Usmanov to circumvent the rules and fund the club without incurring penalties.
Naming rights , his personal involvement in securing Ancelotti and his public declaration of help for Moshiri all pointed to this .
Various newspapers and the PL knew this and tried to prove it but failed .
Ultimately sanctions pulled the rug from under their feet and here we are ,

Technically it has likely increased our indebtedness as it couldn't have been put in as equity before the sale was consummated and approved. I'm sure the idea would be to convert to equity but we're a few months from that.
