Johnson, Kenwright, Moshiri...

Just wait a few years and these used car salesmen will be stepping onto the tumbril and wheeled off.
Is there anyone you'd be content with dave as an owner or do you just prefer to uphold fantastical and impossible standards so you can have manufactured justifications to unleash perpetual tirades?

Do you think they will be given the same minuscule scrutiny that the likes of Kenwright was given by media and fans?
Yes, because people are desperate for us to be financially stable.

They'll have a short honeymoon period though. Our fans have been forged in the heat of battle against successive regimes. It's an uphill battle for anyone coming in and rightly so.

Roma fan Maurizio Gasparri represents the Lazio region in the Italian parliament. He spoke to Rai Radio1 about the protest against the ownership that took place during the defeat to Inter Milan.

He said, as relayed by RomaNews: “I agree with yesterday’s judgment of the Curva Sud, who missed 15 minutes because they detest this Roma management. I would have gone to the Curva to hold up the banner against these Friedkins, who can leave the sooner the better.”

Gasparri also urged the Friedkins to focus their attention on Everton, but he feels that they might ruin that task as well.

“They bought Everton, let them deal with that. I say this with great regret for the Everton fans who will find out who they are dealing with. Vox populi, vox dei [the voice of the people is the voice of God].”

If a fan is saying something, I know there's a good chance it's not true. If a politician is saying something I know it's almost certainly not true. If an *Italian* politician fan is saying something ... it's literally impossible it's true.

The voice of the people is the voice of god?!?!?!? "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that ... and also that's how stupid God is." - Georgissimo Carlino

This seems like a good thing, no?
Yes, it'll be good if they hand us that stability in the short term. We need a breather from crisis.

However, they are here for the stadium and sweating that to the max.

IMO, conflict is baked into this deal: the fans of a club like Everton are based on strong community values and the soon-to-be corporate owners' concerns are with maximising profit. It's the immovable object meeting the unstoppable force.

Only a Mansour type of investor stops that having to happen, and TFG dont have the wherewithal for that.

How plausible is that though dave? You're like the person who sits alone on Friday night because even though they had options they're waiting for a model/actor level of attractiveness date got to be realistic

That new stadium is a game changer IMO. The sky's the limit with Everton in terms of interested parties. Just now with PSR etc the environment is not conducive to a sovereign wealth fund coming in for us. But everything solid melts into air, as the saying goes.

The debt is preventing someone like that from coming in.

I can see TFG recapitalizing the club and selling at a later date.

Sheikh Mansour is going to bring back strong community values?

PSR and FFP aren't going anywhere, every club will be trying to maximize profit.
