If that's not throwing a line out, I don't know what is.

One could read between the lines here, and believe The Friedkin Group have already sounded him out, and the response has been positive.
He did also say in a few years come see him. Can’t see Dyche being here for the next few years.
 

Seems a bit of a sound bite to me this.
Say something to get the fan base on side ✅
Say something that sounds like there’s money burning a hole his Dans skyrocket ✅

They may think there’s scope to extend the stadium, but I’d be very VERY suprised if it was in the next 10 years, they wouldn’t even have a clue how much it would cost or generate yet.
Stuff around the wider dock area sounds plausible but again other than a hotel which they are in the business of, can’t see them buying swathes of dockland for bars etc, not without significant commitments for housing etc, even then it would have to be the ‘right’ sort of housing. They won’t be buying land to build chippys or a new version of the Hot Wok, if indeed they have any intention of ‘buying more land’.
