An exciting day for Everton. A new beginning to go with a new stadium.

I do believe however that those who think TFG will come in and sweep away manager and board may well be disappointed. These seem more like business people who will assess the club top to bottom before making changes . I don't believe they will fall into the same trap as Moshiri , appoint a new manager and then spend almost without limit.

My feeling is we will see very little change this season. SD is now auditioning for his job with a new owner all over again as is everybody else.

Stability and a well funded owner, all we can ask for today. A new beginning.

The fans, in fact, continue to boycott the American ownership and their decision to dismiss De Rossi just four matchdays into the new season.

In addition to the Curva Sud’s announcement of their decision to remain outside the Stadio Olimpico for the first 30 minutes of the game tomorrow, supporters of the club have continued to decorate the city with banners threatening Roma’s top management.
This is another reason why the Friedkins are perfect for Everton. Burn the sentimental, stuck-in-the-1970s, backward-looking, underachieving, mediocrity-encouraging, "He gets us", fan culture of this club to the ground.

Roma fans have totemic heroes like Totti and de Rossi in ways that far more successful clubs like Inter, Juventus, and Milan simply don't indulge in - even though all three of them have far more genuine greats to clasp to their bosoms.

No more sentiment. No more "he gets us" waffle.

sack, Sack, SACK!

All I'm saying is be wary of this lot.

Wait'll people start getting their price list through the mail for their season tickets next year. There'll be no one doing cartwheels then I can promise you.
Some of the people on the waiting list will be.
While price gouging is unpalatable, this ‘industry’ is very much in the supply and demand world now.
Like it or not watching the EPL live is not a working man’s pursuit these days
