Imagine Moshiri did a Kenwrong and only sold to somebody that promised him an important place on the Board of Directors until death and a multi million pound salary each year while he continued to be allowed to meddle in transfer dealings.

On that note, if Chairman Bill was still with us, do we think he'd still be clinging on for a position under Mr Friedkin's tenure? Likely selling himself as the "only man that truly gets Everton", etc.

Could very easily see them selling it in order to lease back

They at least seem to have a clue how to run a club in general though, so that puts them way ahead of Moshiri

Nothing in their track record suggests that's the way they operate mate.

They do so by refinancing debt, restructuring it and expanding commercial opportunities.

No ody mentioned yet they also have property interests, especially in terms of hotels etc. expect a big one going up near the stadium in the future.

My spirit has been broken by the last few years.

I sincerely hope that this is the start of a new fruitful era where we can reform the connection between the players and the fans.

Until then we can only hope this all goes through and the new custodians prove to be adequate.
