Joyce into the final.
Deserved win. Baffling tactics from the Kazakh though, dance around until you are knackered and then try to box.
So in ten minutes, we have had a 63 year old (probably well off) bloke win a gold on a horse, then a young black lad from Earls Court get into a boxing final.
That is just brilliant, and why I love it.
He was a fat mess. The sort of binman that AJ was fed for ages.
Depends on if I know anything about the athletes or not. So for the gymnastics I was cheering on the US girls above the brits and support Andy Murray over US opposition. But usually I don't know much about either set so spread my bets which is a pretty good way of ending up happy when the medals are dished out in true glory hunter style!.....so where does your Olympic allegiance lie, LL?
I thought he is from Earlsfield?
Probably misheard then. Know nowt about boxing, thought that was what the commentator said.
No idea where Earlsfield is anyrate.
It is near Tooting.

That'll be a bugger getting the washing out the machine and loading the dishwasher.....the girl on the left wing for GB Hockey is injured, she done her hamstring in the semi and I can understand why she wants to play in the final but she's scared to sprint. You don't recover from a hamstring in days.
You could ask a million people in this country to name you a male GB hockey player, and Sean Curley is the only name you'll ever hear. Wonder why he's the only one anyone knows?...I remember getting up at 2am when the men won Hockey gold in '88 (I think). In those days we'd be lucky to get 3 golds, how times have changed since the days of Sean Curley.
