Always frustrated me at school not being able to use both sides of the stick. As a leftie this was particularly difficult.

Hmm, wonder if they make left-handed hockey sticks?

I was going to guess that lefty sticks did exist. But....

Unlike other sports with sticks, bats or clubs, field hockey requires players to use right-handed sticks - even those who are naturally left-handed. Every stick has a flat side and a rounded side. Only the flat side of the stick canbe used, for both field players and goalies.
