Read it in 1988. Just re-read it. Still the best book I've ever read (and, somehow, a sister book to The Great Gatsby).

The old man and the sea. Just done it in audio book. Lovely.

Been on a Hemingway kick. Bought a couple books, read them first, then followed up listening to 'em. Always eventually got annoyed by the narrator's doing the female characters voices. I guess "Old Man And The Sea" would be a great listen in that regard.

Farewell To Arms is still my fave.

Just finished (and beign just shy of 1000 pages I was glad to) Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.

Brutal but ultimately uplifting if a little repetitive.

For Whom the Bell Tolls is my favourite Hemingway FTA is excellent aswell as OMATS and To Have and To Have Not and Snows of Kilamanjaro. only one i didnt like was fiesta a sun also rises

Currently starting the second game of thrones book. And got Alan Sugar's auto to read. Neither of which terribly deep.

Unfortunately my "to read" list is very long. I unearthed that and another book I had been wanted to read for years in early June. Didn't even know I owned the second, and forgot that I had received the Kahneman book. Anyway, pick it up, it's a good book.
