Just finished reading Ibrahimovic's book, 'I Am Zlatan'. One of the best books I've read for a while, definitely recommend it.

Definitely one of the better footballers autobiographys

it hasn't grabbed me yet like

It isn't bad, but it is dark book. It probably won't ever grab you.

Personally, I'd recommend Suttree or the Border Trilogy.

Excellent level - The Orchard Keeper, All the pretty horses
Good level - Child of God, Cities of the Plain
Average level - No country for old men

Any other author would be turning cartwheels if they wrote No Country for Old Men - but it's a bit ropey by McCarthy's standards.

the film is mentally good though old chum, took me a few goes, and I still don't fully get it, but it's a true achievement by the Coens

I've only read the road, which I thought was excellent, cheers for posting that though, gives me plenty to go on in the future

It is a cracking film, no doubt. Book is quite cinematic too, just didn't think it was at his usual amazing standard.

It was good but I didn't like it as much as people told me I would. To be fair, I think I had just been on a Vonnegut binge, so that may have had something to do with it.

I'm not sure about that.

I'd recommend him. Many people would say read "Slaughterhouse-Five" but I'd point you toward "Cat's Cradle."

no you're right, I'm getting mixed up with Michael Herr, God knows why though,

yeah Kurt Vonnegut, will check out Slaughterhouse Five when I get the chance, I've heard it's boss like

Reading Haruki Murakami's 'Kafka on the shore'.

An easy read and perfect for the all the hours I have to spend on the metro every day.

Also, off to Cuba next week so bought myself Our Man in Havana by Graham Greene. Looking forward to cracking that one open. May do that before Hemingway.

I think that's the only Greene book I've ever read. Hugely entertaining!
