The GOT Book Club

Read the Odyssey in 10th grade. Didn't like it so much.

Just curious, is it hard for you to distinguish between the two forms of "read" above (bolded).

Sometimes, on forums/written - it gets confusing. Rarely though, usually when I'm sleepy/tired/stupid (it's a condition!). Why?

Anyway - liked Iliad more than Odyssey. Don't know why, maybe it was the time in which they are both - one during the war, the other 10 years after.

I was just wondering, because I saw they were both spelled the same and wondered if it was confusing for someone who's not a native english speaker, even though you're fluent.

Found it.

Right, suggestions for books to download for heading to the home of the pinkies this weekend please.

Funny preferably, in the vein of "Don't tell mum I work on the rigs..."

You can't do better than P.G. Wodehouse when it comes to funny. If you're not familiar with the Bertie and Jeeves books, do yourself a favor.
