LOL .... saw the match and highlights before / know the result / etc .....still got all nervous and emotional watching the highlights again now !
COYB !

I was only 13 back then and I was lucky to get in the 'junior evertonian' turnstyle just before the gates to the lower gladdy were closed with thousands still locked outside, it was sit anywhere back then and i got a seat right in the corner by the bullens, crazy game with so many ups and downs but it all worked out in the end, my first time on the pitch at the final whistle aswell.

I did similar but ended up in the trees in Stanley Park. Must have missed out by about 5 places (knew at least five RS in the ground...). It was a surprisingly good view.

I somehow managed to get on the pitch at the end too, they just let everyone in at the end.

Bedlam indeed. Ended up about 3 rows forward and 15 seats across from my seat in the St End after Barry Horne’s equalizer.

A bigger rollercoaster of emotions at a match I’ve never experienced.

And the square 17 year old I was summoned up my inner scally, evading the stewards’ best efforts to be one of the first loons onto the pitch.

Great memories, but please never again

For our newer members from the otherside of the pond. What a day.

Wonder how much Wimbledon where paid to throw it. Also 4 other teams lost so we stayed up.

Anyone remember how much Bolton hate us after they went down when we drew with Coventry and Chelsea beat them. All from a 0-0 at Reebok and they scored and the ref said it didn’t go over the line
