Apologies, I must have missed it.I did. Even before I read your post ? I'm sure someone else did earlier too
Or I imagined it ?Apologies, I must have missed it.
He gets a title for every furrow. Also, how often do they hold the world ploughing championship if he's won it 172 times?
Ronnie is great at his sport but without the arrogance he might be even better, but it's maybe that ,that takes him up that level .We’ve been lucky in recent years to see some truly great contenders. All near the top of their field with nobody getting near them. The tennis standard has been absolutely ridiculous, I doubt we will see anything like that again in my time.
Ronnie O’Sullivan
Djok
Rafael
Federer
Messi
C Ronaldo
LeBron James
Steph Curry
Mayweather
Serena Williams
Usain Bolt
Michael Phelps
Tiger Woods
They’re just all of the top of my head, there’s probably a load more.
For me, I’d side with Ronnie, but that’s due to my age and what I have seen of him and nobody being near him when he’s on it. I see why people would go for the likes of Michael Jordan and Mohammed Ali but I didn’t see them in their prime, although I like watching videos of them.
I think longevity has to be considered to be truly great. Messi and Ronaldo were at the top of their games for over 10 years. You’ll often see a someone compete incredibly for a year or two but fail to keep up to those standards for one reason or another. We’ve been lucky in recent years to see some truly great contenders. All near the top of their field with nobody getting near them. The tennis standard has been absolutely ridiculous, I doubt we will see anything like that again in my time.

Once a year. He's 180 and no signs of slowing down. Also, how often do they hold the world ploughing championship if he's won it 172 times?
