Greatest hurler of all time Corks Christy Ring. Greatest gaelic footballer Kerrys Mick O'Connell. Greatest soccer player Pele or Dixie Dean.

Greatest aussie rules player of all time, is in my opinions Carltons John Nicholls, although Alex Jesaulenko wouldn't be too far behind either.

Most of the names I would chosen have already been said. I will add:

Ken Griffey Jr and Iron Mike Tyson.

Tyson's prime was too short but in his prime he utterly murdered people. It was a thing to behold. Never cared about boxing before or after him.

Griffey was an incredible 5 tool player who even without championships on his resume entered the Hall of Fame with the highest vote total ever.

Tom Brady
Muhammad Ali
Michael Jordan
Lebron James
Tiger Woods
Messi
Ronaldo
Kobe Bryant
Michael Phelps
Usain Bolt
Mike Tyson
Jerry Rice

This is the correct list.

While Federer was a top tennis player in his time, I hate to say this but he is an inferior player to Djokovic and Nadal, and is inferior to past players such as Sampras. The biggest issue with Federer is he competed with 2 greatest tennis players and they were better than him.

Sad to see Roger Federer retire, who for me was the greatest sportsperson of my generation. Carried himself well both on and off the court and seems like a genuinely decent guy.

What’s everyone else say?

No fighting pls
I'm actually curious why you call him the greatest sportsperson of your generation. For most people, he was the inferior tennis player to both Djokovic and Nadal so what makes him so special?
