I was using the FIIT app/programme on skyQ during lockdown. Was ok but probably could of got them workouts for free on YouTube. Had some yoga ones on and tried some. Not my cup of tea and always thought I was in the total wrong position that I should of been. Lot harder than I thought lol

Aye same mate. Yoga is absolutely solid, big up all them devotees out there they got some strength and endurance. You got to find the yogi that suits you before you get into it. My ultimate crush in the world is a girl called Adrienne (don’t you dare look at her like they you slags) so used here on YouTube. If you’ve got an Apple Watch then their fitness add on is really good for yoga and all other workouts.

It’s something that compliments lifting weighs and something that I reckon we could all benefit from, should we be able bodied, as we get older. Worth persisting with I reckon.

Not quite the same, but for the cost of putting a heavy gym together I'd look at getting a PT. Someone to stop me being a fanny when my arms/legs start wobbling.

Don’t ego lift bro. Depends doesn’t it, I like going to a gym as once you’re there you can’t slack really. It’s like going to work for an hour but something you enjoy. Plus you got all the equipment you need at a fully functioning gym whereas a home gym will have understandable trade offs.

You would make a great motivational speaker on LinkedIn. Think mod towers would employ you in a HR/employee relations role.

You still using your fists in the ring mate?

l'm 66 , skinny , fit but a weakling when it comes to weights , my skeleton is not up to it , arms like twigs but I can run , did a 5k on a treadmill last year in 26 mins without any training bar dog walking , always been quick , never put any weight on whatever I eat or drink . Have always wanted to bulk up a bit but it doesn't happen and things have started to hurt when I overdo it now .

Was a member for a while when my road running went to pish while I recovered from a broken hand. Some odd specimens in there talking about all kinds of powders to maximise sessions. Yet these people wouldn't put full fat milk in their tea because of fats.

Gyms do good for people in different ways. Just bring earphones to drown out the noise.

I did a 12 week training program at the start of the year, to help get in shape after over indulging during crimbo.

Was hard graft but I was in decent nick (for a near 40 year old, fella) at the end of it. I’ve kept some of it up, but I couldn’t sustain it.

Fair play to people who dedicate their lives to it, the training side was the easy bit, it was the nutrition which was the hardest. I love my carbs too much to stay in any type of decent shape.
