Funnily enough I just weighed myself for the first time in months. I'm 92kg/202lbs, down from 95kg in the summer but I'm stronger now. That surprised me considering how much junk I ate over the last few weeks.

On another note, has anyone ever made their own pre-workout? I need to cut my costs down so I'm considerijng some citrulline malate and some other bits and going a bit Walter White.

Cocaine and a double exspresso ( not mixed together) works well

I took ten days off or so but have been back it and happy I didn’t put on as much weight after the amount of ale I consumed over the holidays.

Predictably the gym is absolutely rammed with people who take three sets of dumbbells for one workout but I really hope many of them stick and turn a resolution into a habit, as it’s one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

So, dry veganjuary (that actually sounds more fun somehow?) to try and shift the Christmas pounds, what other fresh hell can be piled on to make existence even worse for a month?
Try Dale Pinnocks books, he's not a strict vegan in his recipes but loads of good veggie and vegan stuff.

Pick up limes is a good site aswell

Brand over functionality, this is the gym thread afterall
Know a guy that swears by his Garmin Venu, if I'm gonna take the plunge and officially find out how few steps I take daily and how few calories I burn or at least mildly singe then I need to know all the options.

Garmin are good to be fair, though since they did get hacked and have everyones data held to hostage a few years back.

Its not like apple is bad gear, its just not top of the range as advertised, apple is a western obsession and anyone who has had to use an IOS system on anything approaching an industrial level has bad vibes about them. For the individual is perfectly fine.

Old friend of mine. Has his own app. Has been on the cover of numerous men's health magazines (inc Men's Health!). He's got a 50% off sale on his workout programs atm iirc.
