It mentioned 1976 on the news tonight where the temperature averaged 33c for 3 months .... not a week or so ... down south has had it worse no doubts, but even heavy showers forecast for pm tomorrow in the North West - then Thursday dropping to 24 c - an excessive outburst of high temperatures = yes - seasonal most probably .....

Just follow the guidelines & don't do anything stupid - like someone letting rocket fireworks off last night down south ....causing fires ....

Pretty sure your first bit is wrong Joseph. There were 15 or so consecutive days when it was above 32 degrees but I'm not having that the average temp over 92 days was 33 degrees.
