The impending forward crisis

30 games into the season, lowest scorers in the COUNTRY and the highlight of our attacking play is seeing an injury prone player return.
And this is where we have arrived! Its hard tp fathom mate, genuinely the home of some of the most prolific Centre Forwards in history has pretty much become a graveyard for decent goal returns!

It has to change.

Cant abide another season of turmoil like the last 2, nay 20-30 years.
Nothing but the best, is a pale shadow of its true meaning.
And yes, the "highlight" waiting for a crock to turn up and save us, is desperate as desperate can be>>

Cray time to be a Blue

let this be a lesson to all you naysayers
@davek is always right lol
maybe not today, maybe not in ten years,
but eventually he is right
no point fighting it anymore, we have arrived in the endtimes!

We had a striker, not the best but even worse when playing in a position completely alien to him. Instead of tailoring the attack to suit maupay, he shoehorned him in and played him like Dom was playing. He's not that guy. If played how he is used too he'd more than likely haver more than a goal.

Not sticking up for Maupay, he's gash but he also wasn't helped by tactics.

Second lowest goalscorers in the league (34). It has to the absolute priority, together with the Board disappearing down the plughole, that we sign players who can score feckin' goals. I await, with interest, reading the summer transfer thread. lol

…well @davek opened this thread in the winter transfer window. Who’d have thought we’d have started the next season and the issue could still be the same.

Monies seem available, albeit limited but other positions appear more of a priority.

We know we carry a major risk if the DoF thinks DCL will be robust to effectively play throughout the season unless they feel Chermiti is the real deal.

even Brighton don't start Ferguson but welback. Chermiti could be our Ferguson but we need a first choice striker and DCL to be the backup for now

We'll have to wait to get anyone, it's very poor but if that happens I'll take it on deadline day.

It's all set up for a big disappointment though. That's what they're good at.

If we end up without another forward then the club are happy to take another massive gamble on our future. Our luck will run out.

And if/when MSP come aboard, probably when the window "slams shut" then it will be damning on them as well and whatever vision of recovery and stability they would claim to bring.

It would be unacceptable and unforgivable.

Stop panicking everyone, will will shortly be buying an exciting..............................................................winger.

To add to our current crop of 17................................................................................................................wingers.

Who all wanna play on the left…🧐

Even Cannon has a hamstring tear. A striker of some description needs to added or just play a false nine all year. DCL may play 10-15 games this year if we are lucky. Maupay needs to be revitalized in some way.
