The impending forward crisis

Dyche has been here for around a week, I don't think you can say the kid's getting snubbed. He'll find a use for him if he thinks it'll work.
Yes, that's a fair point.

I dont think there's any option outside of a free player signing than using him at some time.

8 goals in 21 games for Blackpool and 7 goals in 17 for Sunderland in the Championship suggests some ability to get us a goal or two in the PL.

No manager's going to throw the opportunity of a young goal-scorer away, saves you a crapload of money to put elsewhere...we're back to the Moyes days of penny pinching apparently so you have to think he'll be given a chance. If he continues to not make it on the pitch, you have to wonder what the story is.

We overlooked our USA left back - a certain Man City are after him now - 2 million we sold him for - jee wiz -

Players in our under 23s need opportunities if we get safe, hopefully -
If Man City wanted him, why doesnt he play for Man City?

They dont strike me as a club who couldnt sort a deal out for Fulhams LB.

0 assists and 0 goals all season, I dont see how hes any better than Myko.

Speaking of LB's...can we have a moment of silence.

If no DCL, I'd go with Gray. Quick outlet, can stretch defences our wide to let big men arrive from midfield such as Onana and Doucoure.

Also no reason why he cannot go out on wing and allow someone else to go up front if need be to change ot up.

Anyway that's for Dyche to sort out. He's paid the big money for that.

Given our precarious position, it may well be that Dyche prefers going with established PL forwards in the short term, especially against the top sides, as there's no indication yet that Simms can make the jump up to this level. I think that if we improve our chances at staying up, you'll see Simms get some time, especially against our fellow strugglers.
