The L.C.A.B. / THT Transfer Window Thread ....

Long time reader but never posted until yesterday.

Does anyone think that we are keeping things down to a minimum ie. scraping for loans, seemingly wage trimming etc because we could potentially be sold in the near future.

Almost definitely wishful thinking on my part as I am not a fan of the regime but does it sound plausable?

QUOTE]

100% with Matt Damon on this one and thought for some time in aroundabout way that Kenwright is trimming for a purpose.

I'm in a paradox here, either Moyes resigns (in which case we're screwed) or I have lost all respect for him.

Anyway, last shout from me, musters desperate voice, (sqeeks) Daniel Sturridge.

That's exactly the impression I have.

There's a black hole somewhere but it's not public knowledge. That's the only explanation for our financial state, as wages etc. don't explain it.

Someone needs to check for a Swiss bank account under the name of "B. Kenwright".

Many a true word said in jest.

He is a top shout, everytime ive seen him he looks dangerous and he's also got goals in him. Surely we can compete with Bolton????

On the contrary LCAB. Me and THT were discussing this yesterday and disagree with you it seems

Also THT states - that others have wanted us but there's been blocks.

I'm reading the situation as a whole.

And can see that Kenwright cannot afford us. Cannot afford to block these attempts anymore.

And by not taking on further overheads he's trying to tidy things up prior to a sale.

Going on the scale of some of the recent investments in football clubs - the debts that EFC haves are small change. I'm not worried there.

Kenwright just cannot get - credit needed to change the business model. Not only that the availability of said credit is gone possibly for the next 10 years.

Hence he's got no option but to sell.

I hope your logic is correct. Something has to change, and investment has to come in very soon.

Appearantly completing a move to Bolton today, if not already done.

There are so many players we could've had this window. Resignation, thy name is Everton.
Not in the sense of Davey though. He's been worse off. Consider our club asceting. Consider the ****e a really fat grandmother with smelly teeth.

I'm more and more convinced on this the more I look at it.

Thanks to Davek's hysterical (and inaccurate) posts on the credit rating issue. I'm looking at the method within the so-called madness that people are claiming.

It means I am now in the camp that if Kenwright doesn't sell now he'll damage Everton.

And if anything the two things look linked. Not taking on further overheads would help with a sale process.

I'm just hopping PADDYPOWER gives me good odds on my bet that Kenwright will sell the club by this summer.

Been waiting for this to happen, guess it's a wrench of a decision to make but i support it.

Also, doing this in the last hours of deadline day is tactical genius. Well on GOT and its traffic.
Feels almost like a new signing! *snigger*

Only for this evening to be fair mate.

We do it tactically to encourage the most frequent lurkers to make the effort to sign up when they'll be more inclined to post.

This has made me quite happy.

Its lame that Everton have reduced us all to this...

I was gutted when Moyes dropped Yak for Saha, but thought we would be getting Landon back...

Then I was gutted we didnt get Landon, but thought we MUST have a plan B...

Then I was gutted we didnt have a plan B, but thought maybe Moyes would see sense and reinstate Yak...

Then i was gutted that he had no intention, but thought if we "sell" him, maybe well get a semi decent price and buy someone new...

Then we LOANED him out, and since then, my positive thoughts mostly dried up

Anyway, think im gonna have me some sirloin steak, and watch some Mad Men and glee, then check back in later, see if any miracles have occurred
