The loan myth

Just another ignorant moron of a journalist, bitter about the fact that his side lost.
If he got his way and the loan system was scrapped all that would happen would be that the established top four would always be the top four as no one else can match their financial muscle. That would effectively be the end of any real competition in the premier league and the top four may as well split off and play each other all year while the other 16 teams try to complete for something.
You would think that a "football supporter" would actually be pleased that there is at least a chance that another club might pip one of the rich four clubs to a CL position and give some purpose to actually having more than four teams in a division.

I agree - this is pretty much what ive been saying for ages, that there is barely any point having more than 5 teams (remember united will be back there when they get a decent manager). I actually still stand by this - if we make it it'll be a minor miracle - there is barely any point to football outside the top 4, especially now the secondary european competition is "a joke" because of its financial rewards. If its all about financial rewards and the CL is all that matters there's no point at all.

And if we get top 4, "something will be done" for certain about the loan players.
