Absolute bell:

If you can't be bothered to read I'll do a short version:

It's a bit rich a Newcastle fan moaning about loan signings. Where would they be without Remy's goals?

A third of our team on loan?! They have two loanees, which presumably only make a sixth of their side, making us twice as bad then.

Lukaku has scored a goal less than Remy in the league, so presumably they cancel each other out? Pardew has admitted he fancies Romelu but, given that they keep selling their best players, he must be just as much out of their price range as ours.

Redknapp has said that he wants £15-16m for Remy. The last time the Barcodes spent anywhere near that amount was 06/07 for Martins.

Kone scored 11 league goals last year. If him and Gibson had stayed fit (not to mention Oviedo) couldn't they have had a similar impact to Lukaku and Barry? And Deulofeu has only started 5 games for us.

The loanees have definitely helped but they're not the sole reason that we are where we are. Whereas without their loanees they would have a strikeforce of Ameobi/Cisse/Ameobi, which has managed 2 league goals between them in 49 appearances.

The loans have helped us just as much as the £577,559,000 Chelsea/£507,620,000City/£205,100,000United and £198,100,000/RS have spent in the last 5 years, on transfers alone.

Oh and for the record -£7,865,500/Everton.
I shake my head at nonsense like this - the loan sh*t I mean - and this is exactly why. Not only does their argument have no merit as EVERY club loans players, every season - not our fault our loan signings have been successful - but also cos the real enemy is staring them right in the face. We can barely scrape a loan fee together whilst you have the top clubs spending nigh on a billion over the last 10 years, and we're somehow the bad guys. Morons

I just find it funny like, is anyone mentioning the fact Athletico are top of the Spanish league thanks in huge part to a loan keeper like.

Just bitter kopites and other teams who are jealous like

yep. RS fans for the most part are pretty hypocritical, they'd be singing a different tune if their loan signings like cissokho werent ***

Just another ignorant moron of a journalist, bitter about the fact that his side lost.
If he got his way and the loan system was scrapped all that would happen would be that the established top four would always be the top four as no one else can match their financial muscle. That would effectively be the end of any real competition in the premier league and the top four may as well split off and play each other all year while the other 16 teams try to complete for something.
You would think that a "football supporter" would actually be pleased that there is at least a chance that another club might pip one of the rich four clubs to a CL position and give some purpose to actually having more than four teams in a division.
