Friend's father is experiencing Alzheimer's, his mom (his wife obvs) passed away from cancer earlier on in the COVID days.

His dad recently called him asking where his mom was, so he went over to have the conversation and found him in the living room crying. Poor man has to constantly re-live her death because of that horrible condition.

It’s a dreadful disease that can come on so quickly. There’s about 1 million in the U.K. suffering from it. It is staggering how many people, family, friends are affected by it. Help your friend, he will need the support……

Reason is no longer a thing taught in schools, or in the media. What gets clicks is 'shouty madman says what enough other people are thinking, draws enough eyeballs to make money selling ad time, and ignores all counterarguments' now.

The only question is whether they're selling avocado toast and EVs to the kids on the left, or catheters and SUVs to the old people on the right.
