Nah, he didnt know about Madrid till the summer. We dropped off because the ass fell out of the squad with injuries, and a weirdly poor covid home form. Some belter games that season. The spurs 5-4, I could watch all day.

There is no way could you possibly know that. He could have been talking to them for months about it as far as any of us know. Not that it matters anyway, his record is still really good even with the drop off.

Don't think so mate. I think he rented property on the long road that leads up to West Lancs GC (can't remember what the road is called but has some quality properties. Andy Carroll messed up some other Liverpool gaff on the same road apparently) . I'm sure his next door neighbour was Gini Winjaldum and the houses are side on, face to face.
